The BAPS is the largest Hindu temple in the Western Hemisphere and the second largest in the entire world; standing 191 feet tall, 255 feet long & 345 feet wide. It is hand carved of Italian Carrara marble, Indian pink sandstone & Bulgarian limestone.
WE WILL MEET AT 2:30 for a one-hour 3 pm tour: 112 N Main Street, Robbinsville NJ 08561. Free docent timed-entry tour & self guided exterior. Free parking. MODEST ATTIRE IS STRICTLY REQUIRED (shoulders, chest, back and knees must be covered). Shoes must be removed before entering the Mahamandir and photography is prohibited inside the main temple. We will walk around outside areas.
